Once you've made up your mind to study abroad it's time to find a suitable programme that won't result in disappointment. So before you choose, take into account the following points.

  • Destination
  • Big cities like London are cosmopolitan, attractive, expensive and full of foreigners speaking English. On the other hand,a medium size town will let you enjoy the culture, talk to locals and stroll around with friends.

  • School
  • Do you like to attend a language course in a crowdy school with over 1,000 students or in a small family-run school with some hundred students? That's up to you. Both of them offer different worthwhile experience.

  • Accreditation
  • Accreditation means that schools are regularly inspected to assure high quality educational services. In UK most school are accredited by the British Council and English UK .

  • Aim of trip
  • Fun or study? It's important to know what to expect from a chosen study abroad programme. Most schools in the UK look for serious and responsible students who want to study and experience a new culture.

  • Classes
  • How many hours do you want to study? Check how many class hours you'll get and how long the classes are. Some institutions offer classes in the morning and in the afternoon.

  • Number of students
  • Would you like to be in a small group( 6-8) and get individual attention to your progress or you'll rather be part of a large group ( !0- 18 students) with lots opportunity to chat?

  • Accomodation
  • The best and cheapest accomodation is homestay. You'll speak English all day long and make rapid linguistic progress. You can also stay in self-catering residences or shared apartments.

  • Social activities
  • Social activities let you socialize in English with students from other cultures in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. You'll visit pubs, cinemas or museums.

  • Excursions
  • Every weekend you'll have the opportunity to join your classmates on excursions to visit other destinations to complete an enjoyable stay.

  • Testimonials
  • Most schools show testimonials on their websites. Reach some and ask them about their experience.

If you bear in mind all these elements ,you'll certainly benefit from an enriching studyabroad experience.
