Crest Schools of English has over 25 years' experience in teaching English to international students. Our approach is communicative and student-centred, which means that teachers will design lessons around your specific needs and interests to help you use English in an effective and practical way.
General English classes focus on the development of all language skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking, while also helping to improve your grammar, pronunciation and fluency. Classes are available for all levels from beginner to proficiency.
A fast track to learning English, this programme enables you to make the maximum progress in the time available (21 to 30 hours per week). You can choose to take additional General English classes per week or to combine a standard course with IELTS, pronunciation or any of our other Crest programmes.
To make every moment count (60 hours per week), we will pair you up with one of our highly experienced teachers, who will accompany you in your spare time (between group classes) and help you to practise and refine your conversational and idiomatic language skills.
This course is ideal for groups or individuals who have specific English language requirements. Our qualified and experienced teachers will design a highly personalised course catered to your needs - whether it be English for pilots and/or air traffic controllers, medical English, English for legal purposes or an English course for students who want to improve particular skills such as presentation or writing.
TKT is a Cambridge ESOL teaching award testing knowledge about teaching English to speakers of other languages.
The course is for all teachers, anywhere in the world, whatever your teaching background or experience. The course is designed to increase your confidence in the classroom and to enhance your professional knowledge needed for teaching primary, secondary or adult learners, anywhere in the world.
The course focuses on different methodologies for teaching, the 'language of teaching', the different ways of using resources, the key aspects of lesson planning, and classroom management methods for different needs. (The TKT does not test your proficiency in the English language, nor your practical skills)
This programme is a fantastic opportunity to improve your work skills and to practise English in a natural, working environment.
