Oxford is in one of the most attractive cities in UK, renowned the world over and displaying the most varied assortment of historic buildings in the world in an area of less than one half a square mile.
The method used in EckersleyOxford is a combination of long experience with modern approach to teaching and learning.Classes have a maximun of twelve students and they have self access to language laboratory and video, free Internet- email access and social programmes.
The Course Director is Steve Hirschhorn, Principal of the school.
The courses are designed to help teachers of English at all levels who want to practise and improve their English in a friendly and professional enviroment, and who also want to learn and discuss new teaching ideas. The aim of these courses is to fill you up with new ideas and enthusiasm so you will return to your classrooms refreshed and keen to try out new ways of teaching.
Courses run for two weeks, 21 hours a week. It's also posssible to enroll for one week, either the first or the second one.The morning sessions are language focus and three of the afernoons sessions focus on teaching methodology and ideas.
