Crest School of English
London Crest Open Centre will for the first time hold a computer-based PET (Preliminary English Test) on 19th July and Crest Schools of English would like to offer a tailor-made course in preparation for the exam. The 6 week course includes 15hr/wk tuition, study materials and PET exam fee. Our highly qualified and experienced teachers plan their lessons very carefully, using the most modern methodology and materials, in order to help students achieve their goals as quickly as possible. Throughout the studies, their progress will be closely monitored, they will be given homework and encouraged to use our free self-access materials when studying at home.PET is an international certificate, recognised by administrative, industrial, and service-based employers as a qualification in intermediate English, which is at Level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). PET is also accepted by a large number of educational institutions for study purposes. Companies such as Coca-Cola, Nestlé, Gillette and KPMG all recognise the value of PET in their overseas offices. PET's 'Can Do' skills enable candidates to use English in real situations with confidence. The exams use real-life situations and are especially designed to help them communicate more effectively in their own life and to focus their language learning on the skills they will actually need. Because PET exams focus on all four-communication skills -Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking- students increase their confidence in using English in everyday situations. Please find more details of the qualification at Cambridge exam. |
